Footy has organized 7-versus-7 soccer leagues for adults in Tucson since 2020. This summer, Footy Park Tucson will open its doors. That’s where the job is. It is going to be the first outdoor soccer facility in Tucson with artificial turf!

Footy Park will contain 4 soccer pitches, adjacent to a concession area with a terrace. The soccer complex will offer leagues, among other exciting activities. Therefore, the role of Recreational Service Coordinator is very diverse & dynamic.

About the role

Hence, the role comes with a wide scope of tasks:

• Organizing tournaments and events
• Communicating with teams, players, and referees
• Coordinating field rentals
• Help finding new staff
• Maintaining a clean environment
• Help with coordinating the leagues
• Managing personnel
• Spotting commercial opportunities for growth

There will be plenty of room for new ideas. Having established a big following among the soccer community in Tucson since 2020, Footy provides a solid foundation for new, exciting initiatives.

Requirements

Summing it up, the person we are looking for has the following qualifications and competences:

• Proven organizational skills
• Strong Customer Service skills
• Strong communicative skills, both verbal and written
• A background in sports is preferred
• Available to work weekday evenings and weekends
• Independent problem solver
• Reliable and responsible character
• Located in Tucson
