Article 1 – Scope of Terms & Conditions
This agreement governs League and Field Rental Services between Footy LLC (“Footy,” “we,” or “us”) and the registering team, participants, free agents, and/or booking party (“Team,” “you,” or “Participants”). Participation is subject exclusively to these Terms & Conditions. These Terms do not affect any applicable statutory rights.
All league services—including competitions, leagues, games, events, and tournaments organized by Footy (“Competitions,” “Leagues,” “Games”)—and all rental services, including use of Footy Park facilities, are subject to these Terms & Conditions.
By registering for any Competition (via phone, email, or online), the Team and all Participants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
These Terms & Conditions consist of (i) Registration & Payment Terms and (ii) General Terms & Conditions.
Registration & Payment Terms
Article 2 – Pricing
The Game Fee is currently approximately $70 per Team for 7v7 league game and $50 per Team for 5v5 league game. Fees are subject to change.
Total Competition Fees are calculated based on the number of scheduled games.
Games or events outside regular league play may be priced separately.
Article 3 – Registration
Registration must be completed in writing, including via email, text, or online at footy.nl or playfooty.com (the “Registration Form”). By registering, the Team and all Participants accept these Terms.
Footy reserves the right to cancel or refuse any registration at its sole discretion.
Players may only register for one team per competition and must be at least 17 years old, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Team captains must be at least 18 years old.
Each Team must designate a captain and vice-captain as primary contacts. The captain is responsible for team communication and payments.
Footy may deduct any outstanding amounts from a Team’s deposit.
Article 4 – Final Fees
All pricing provided prior to league start is an estimate. Final fees are determined once registration closes and the number of teams and games is confirmed.
Teams will be notified of final pricing before the season begins.
Footy reserves the right to charge for additional services not included in the original agreement.
Article 5 – Payment Terms
All prices are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
Teams are responsible for all fees listed in the Registration Form and/or invoice, subject to adjustments under Article 4.
Teams must be paid up through their scheduled game. Footy reserves the right to suspend or deny participation to any Team or Player with outstanding balances.
New Teams must pay a deposit equal to at least one game fee before their first match.
Free Agents will only be assigned to a Team after full payment of their registration fee.
Full payment is due within 30 days of the Team’s first scheduled game unless otherwise agreed in writing. All payments are non-refundable.
If payment is not received on time, Footy may cancel the Team’s participation without refund.
Invoices unpaid after 30 days may incur interest at the statutory rate plus 2%, calculated from the invoice date.
Article 6 – Cancellation
If a Team withdraws after the season has started, all fees paid are non-refundable.
In exceptional cases, such as serious injury or death of a Team member, Footy may consider a prorated refund at its sole discretion. All requests must be submitted in writing.
General Terms & Conditions
Article 7 – Use of Facilities
Teams may use Footy facilities solely for their intended purpose—participation in scheduled soccer activities.
Teams are responsible for the conduct of their players, guests, and invitees while on or near Footy premises. Teams are liable for any damage caused by these individuals.
Teams may not sell or distribute food, beverages, or other goods at Footy facilities without prior written approval.
Facilities are provided “as is.” Footy is not liable for minor defects or conditions of the মাঠ. Use of facilities is at the Team’s own risk.
Footy reserves the right to charge for cleaning, repairs, or damages caused by Teams or their guests.
Footy may remove or deny access to any Team or individual for unsafe, abusive, or unsportsmanlike behavior.
Article 8 – Scheduling
Game schedules as published by Footy are binding.
Requests for schedule changes must be submitted at least 24 hours in advance. Footy may approve or deny requests at its discretion.
Footy prioritizes ensuring all scheduled games are played. Alternative time slots may be offered but are not guaranteed.
Teams may not cancel games due to player shortages without first contacting Footy. Footy may offer replacement players, which Teams are expected to accept.
Article 9 – Cancellation by Footy
Footy may cancel or suspend activities due to force majeure, including but not limited to weather, safety concerns, or events beyond its control.
Footy may terminate participation for violations of league rules or facility policies without refund.
Article 10 – Liability Waiver
By participating, all Teams and Participants agree to release and hold harmless Footy, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, injuries, damages, or losses arising from participation, including those caused by ordinary negligence.
Participants assume all risks associated with playing soccer and using Footy facilities.
Teams are responsible for any damage caused by their members or guests.
Article 11 – Force Majeure
Footy is not liable for failure to perform due to events beyond its reasonable control, including weather, natural events, labor disruptions, or acts of terrorism.
Any party unable to fulfill obligations due to such events must notify the other party as soon as reasonably possible.
Article 12 – Footy App Requirement
To participate in Footy games, all players must create an account on the Footy app: https://footy.netlify.app/.
If a player does not have an account, they may not be allowed to play.
Team captains are responsible for making sure all players are registered before game time.
