Who are we?

Footy is a soccer organization that runs leagues for 100s of teams every week. Originally started in The Netherlands, we like to bring the most popular sports in the world (soccer) to the US. In fact this month Footy Park Tucson is going to open the first 4 outdoor artificial field surface in Tucson.

Duties

• Be available on Wednesday (Mesa) and/or Thursday evening (Tempe). 
• Ensure fields are match-ready, including setting up popup goals (not heavy).
• Welcome players to their matches and spark a connection with the players
• Have basic knowledge about soccer, and having an interest about it
• Depending on experience able to help organize the league
• Creating a community with different type of people

What we are looking for:

To be our reliable coordinator in Tempe & Mesa, you have to have / be

• Good sense of community.
• Reliable in availability.
• Ideally experience with organizing similar events.
• Willingness to referee soccer games.
• Driver’s license and reliable transport.
• Living in a reasonable distance from the locations.
• Available to work a minimum of one game day each week. Shifts are 4 hours per evening plus 1 hour to coordinate with rest of team and running other errands.
• Someone who enjoys being close to the game.
